Artist submission
We are in the game to find only the best acts and push them to the very top!
We will fully review every submission in great detail and guarantee to provide feedback to every single act even if we feel that you aren’t quite ready for working with us yet.
We’re a new label and are looking to increase our roster of artists as soon as possible. That’s why throughout June we’re asking any band or solo artist to submit their best song to our label for review. There are no strings attached, it won’t cost you a penny and we’ll contact you as soon as we’ve had a good listen to your tune. Here’s what we’ll do:
(i) If we like your song and think it fits with the overall profile of Unbreakable Records we’d look to sign you to a six-month contract giving us sole rights to promote your song on all the usual digital platforms. Rest assured that in the event of your song going viral, you’ll get to keep every penny that you might earn. That’s a solemn promise from Unbreakable Records;
(ii) If we like your song but don’t think it fits with the profile of Unbreakable Records we’ll put it on our famous UR Playlist and plug it as much as possible on our website, blogs and social media. That won’t cost you a penny either!
(iii) If we decide that the song isn’t for us, then we’ll send you a brief explanation of how we reached our decision, including an analysis of your song. That will be free, naturally.
So. What are we looking for? Essentially we want to hear songs that have a good tune, good lyrics and a good beat. Pretty simple really!
You don’t have to be a gigging band with a huge following. All we ask is that you submit your best song for our consideration and we’ll take it from there.
The Mission Statement of Unbreakable Records is that we want ‘To transform the world by helping musical artists to come together, get their music heard and to have fun while doing it.’
You can’t say fairer than that.
ALL THE TECHNICAL BITS YOU NEED TO KNOW…
In order to put your music out on the various platforms like Apple Music and Spotify you’ll need to send us your song in a compliant format.
Here’s what we need:
Any audio you upload to us must be at least 16-bit (44100 Hz or higher) studio-quality stereo WAV or MP3 files. 🎶
Please only upload complete recordings.
That means no snippets or segments of tracks that cut off abruptly or partway through the recording - and no extended periods of silence within your tracks.
If you need to convert your music to the correct format, the simplest way is to use iTunes.
1. Launch your audio file in iTunes.
2. Select 'preferences' in the top menu, followed by 'import settings'.
3. Change this to ‘WAV Encoder' and the following settings: 16-bit (sample size), 44.1 kHz (sample rate), 1411 kbps (bit rate).
This will convert your files to the right format.
